Presented by the Poway Fire Department, learn the basics of home fire safety during this free 90-minute workshop.Fires in the home are a very real but very preventable danger. Learn what practical steps you can take to prevent fires, be prepared in case one occurs and feel more secure in your home. Residents will learn about the proper placement of smoke detectors, heat alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors and how to use a fire extinguisher.
All attendees will receive a home fire safety guide and two lucky attendees will leave with a fire extinguishing blanket.

This Workshop is offered on two days, Wednesday October 8 and Saturday October 18. The same material is presented each day.
