Help Miss Skarritt, Queen Victoria's dresser, design some new Christmas bloomers for the Queen. Learn about Victorian Christmas traditions to help you create your design.Meet our Victorian school ma'am Miss Roach and experience a Victorian lesson from 1888. Children will dress in basic costume over their own clothes, pinafores for the girls and sailor’s collars for the boys and role play as Victorian pupils in 1888. The lesson will include learning reading and arithmetic by rote, using a class abacus to do their sums.
Learn how the Victorians made Christmas pudding with Mrs Danvers the cook. Your group will help make the pudding but you will not be able to take it home. We make a Temperance, alcohol free, and nut free pudding. A full list of ingredients is supplied with your booking confirmation.
