Crane is proud to be a part of Archifest21!
In celebration of Singapore's unique architecture - not just in fancy hotels and skyscrapers, but in our shared space as well, from shophouses to HDB flats. Crane has put together some fun and unique activities in collaboration with Archifest21, which takes place from 1-31 October.
Entry to the exhibition & pop-up event on 24 Oct is free. To join individual workshops, fees apply. Please follow the links when provided to register for individual events!
Explore a fun range of art, graphics and home decor featuring familiar Singapore landmarks and architecture, including our fabulous shophouses, tourist spots like the Merlion and MBS, and even cosy interiors only those who live in Singapore will truly appreciate, from a beautifully painted plate of nasi lemak to an illustration of kaya toast and kopi!
Featured vendors include: Ginger Lily Art, Yeni Draws, Big Red Chilli, Em +Co, Canvas & Weaves, and Crane Living.
All Day: Digital Exhibition by local comic artists on local architecture as reflected in comic art.
Panel discussion: The Singapore City reflected in Comics.
Hosted by Lim Cheng Tju, Singapore's foremost Comics Academic, this unique event is part of Archifest 2021.This event will be livestreamed free at Crane.

Sketching Shophouses workshop sessions with ComXNaut's foremost artist, Xavier Hoong! Take a little trip around Kim Yam Road to appreciate the history behind the shophouses of Singapore. Then return to Crane for a speedy class in perspective art, and take home your very own shophouse sketch!
