This class is designed for individuals who are just getting into canning or for those who need a refresher. The class will cover water bath canning high-acid foods such as fruits, pickled foods, and tomatoes. It will also cover the pressure canning method, which is used to safely can low-acid foods like vegetables, meats, soups, and stews. A canning demonstration using both methods will take place at the end of the class.

This class will be taught by Taylor Conner, Family and Consumer Sciences Educator, Registered Dietitian
