The Feast of St. Michael and All Angels, also called Michaelmas, is an ancient tradition of the church. The Bible repeatedly speaks about angels and their involvement in the Church. We see angels all through the Old Testament doing things such as leading God’s people in the wilderness or guarding people and nations, such as when the prophet Daniel speaks to Saint Michael about his protection of Israel. Angels are – therefore – an important part of God’s created hierarchy, order and purpose for the world. We invite you to join us for this special Festal Eucharist (Communion) service; we will begin at 11:15, and the service will be followed by a time for fellowship, snacks, and coffee.
