As a champion of civil rights, The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dreams were aligned with many of our Catholic teachings: the life and dignity of all people; care for the poor and vulnerable; solidarity of our one human family regardless of race, ethnicity, religious, or economic differences; fair wages and treatment in civic matters; peace, equality, and justice among all; and discipleship of Christ.
Please join us in praying for continued progress on the work begun by The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and as we pray for peace and justice in our country and our world.
