Holy Isle ChallengeWelcome to the Holy Isle Challenge: supported by Otter’s Tail, an 11km circumnavigation of the Holy Isle, starting and finishing at Lamlash Pier and run by Arran Kayak Club on behalf of the Scottish Canoe Association.
The ethos of the day is for a fun day out and whilst there will be a race element to the day the emphasis will be on everyone safely completing the challenge.

Registration / boat and equipment check – 10.30
Safety brief – 11.45
Start time – 12.00 SUPs and touring boats / 12.20 Performance boats and skis
Prize giving – 14.30
Cost:
SCA members entry is £15 for adults /£10 for under 18’s.
Non-members will be charged an extra £5 for SCA Day Membership.
Entries are via the SCA website.
Age restrictions:
In single boats the minimum age is 14 on the day of the race, if there is an over 18 in a tandem the 2nd paddler can be a minimum age of ten.
