This month, we will start reading and discussion of Liber 418, The Vision and the Voice. While this book is not a Holy Book in the sense of being 100% in Class A, it is in Class AB, which means it contains material in both classes A and B. Crowley said that this book was second in importance only to the Book of the Law.
The book describes the 30 Aethyrs, which can be envisioned as spheres that concentrically surrounding the physical universe. These were first recorded but never explored, by John Dee and Edward Kelley. Aleister Crowley, first alone in 1900, then with the assistance of Victor Neuberg as his Scribe in 1909, invoked, and Neuberg wrote down what Crowley described to him, including the utterances of the Angels of most of the Aethyrs.
I highly recommend having a copy of the book available for reference during the discussion, though, without one, a participant should still be able to follow along and benefit from the presentation and discussion. We will try to cover one Aethyr during each session if that is possible.
