Holster Draw Level 2 is a recommended course post your Wear and Carry, or if you're looking to enhance your skill set.Students should already have a basic understanding of fundamentals, safe firearms handling, and the ability to draw from an outside the waistband holster. Students should take Level 1 prior, but it is not mandatory if the student can demonstrate proficiency prior to attending.

Training Goals:
Explanation of positioning, elements of a clean draw, weak hand positioning,
Identifying poor techniques/habits
Different types of retention
Reloads - emergency, speed, tactical, admin
Basic Forward Movement
Shooting from barricade / compromised positions
Dry Fire – live fire
Purpose/Agenda:
Learn how to safely draw the firearm from the holster to present on target and safely return to the holster inside the waistband through multiple techniques.
Building on organic movements in the process.
Administrative loading, emergency reloading, speed reloading, tactical reloading skills will be further enhanced.
Shooting positions will include static, kneeling, supine, and movement.
A maximum of 4 students may enroll at one time, minimum of 2 students.
Prerequisites:
A semiautomatic pistol (previous experience with the platform is a must, it should be “broken in”)
Holster - Inside The Waistband – Molded holsters only, cloth/soft canvas/universal will not be allowed. No ankle. No crossdraw. Sling/Fanny Pack is acceptable.
Magazine Pouches for the Hip (can be pocket, IWB, OWB)
200 rounds of ammo
2-3 Magazines (3 preferred – do not preload)
Long Pants
Closed Toe Shoes
