MUSICIANS REQUIRED!The University of Surrey Orchestra is inviting local musicians to campus for a FREE fun day of rehearsals of HOLST's The Planets, under the baton of our Head of Conducting Russell Keable.
After a day of rehearsals, the orchestra will perform to an audience of friends, family, and the general public at 5.30pm.
To maintain consistency, we ask for musicians to be grade 7 or above. We have had an incredible response, but still need more:
Oboes
Tenor trombones (need to be able to read tenor clef)
Bass Trombones
Tubas
Violins
Violas
Cellos
Double Basses
One more harp
As a player, it is essential that you register your place to play by emailing [email protected], as we have limited spaces per instrument.
A light lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
