Dear friendsAfter the summer holidays, we warmly invite you to join us for a Holotropic Breathwork weekend workshop – a deep journey of self-exploration, healing, and connection.
Through breathwork, movement, and integration practices, you’ll reconnect with your inner self and embrace the healing power of your own inner wisdom.
When: Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August 2025
Where: Kongsgata 44, 4005 Stavanger-Norway
Whether you're returning to your practice or joining for the first time, you're most welcome. No prior experience is required – only an open heart and a willingness to explore.
The price for this workshop is:
Earlybird rate: When paid in full before 14th July 2600kr.
Full price: After 14th of July, 3000kr - must be paid in full upon registration after July 21st.
Students/ unemployed: 2200kr - must be paid in full upon registration after July 21st.
Deposit upon registration to save your spot: 700kr. Please pay in full by above mentioned dates.
Cancellation policy:
The 700kr deposit is non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by us or we find reason through your medical statement that participation is unfit for you. The payment of the remaining amount is eligible for a full refund if you give notice 7 days or more before the workshop.
This workshop is non-residential. If you are traveling from outside of Stavanger we recommend finding accommodation at a nearby hotel or airbnb.

You will be required to attend the full hours of the workshop, both days.

Note: Schedule hours could be modified depending of the needs of the group and the flow of the day. It is important and mandatory to stay until the closing of the workshop.
FOOD:
Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.
Please pack your own food for Saturday.
The workshop is facilitated by Mara Sola and Guro Ellingsen.
Mara Sola
Originally from Spain has been living and working in Norway since 2012. Mara is the founder of Holotropic Breathwork Skandinavia. She discovered Holotropic Breathwork® and transpersonal psychology in 2015. Since then she has been interested in expanded states of consciousness, which have been a big part of her inner healing and understanding of her psyche. In 2018, Mara completed the Grof Transpersonal Training and participated in HB workshops in many countries in Europe. Mara is an art pedagogy a globetrotter by heart and a visual artist in her everyday life. Mara perceives her growing transformation as the result of a long term commitment and dedicated time to self-cultivation in the quest of being. Guro Ellingsen
A returned Stavanger local, experienced traveler in the world as most know it, and an experienced traveler within the holotropic realms and other non-ordinary states of consciousness. Guro has had a lifelong interest in holistic ways of life, mind-body practices and psycho-spirituality. Before mentioned interests has led her on journeys around the world and introduced her to practices like, amongst others; yoga, meditation, and holotropic breathwork, that has become an important part of her life. Guro happened upon breathwork by chance, or perhaps fate rather, and has since her very first meeting with the mat (where the breathwork takes place) felt its transformative and healing effect. This led her to the passionate choice of undertaking the training to become a facilitator, wanting to pass on the experience of Holotropic Breathwork® to others who might benefit from it. Guro is a certified Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator, and is passionate about providing safe containers and support for healing and growth through non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Are you new to Holotropic Breathwork®?
Holotropic Breathwork® is a powerful and effective technique of experiential psychotherapy and deep self-exploration within transpersonal psychology. Its purpose is to achieve greater self-understanding, expansion of self-identity, and to facilitate access to the roots of emotional and psychosomatic problems.
Holotropic Breathwork® invites the breather on a deep journey inward supported by accelerated breath and evocative music. Energy releasing bodywork techniques are provided where requested or needed. Mandala drawing/painting and group sharing are important tools for the integration of the experience after the session.
Contraindications for Holotropic Breathwork® are high blood pressure, heart problems, severe mental illness, recent surgery or fractures, acute infectious illness, epilepsy, glaucoma and pregnancy.
