Holocaust Memorial Day Interfaith Remembrance Event

As we mark Holocaust Memorial Day and the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau join us at the Multi Faith Centre to see the collaboratively produced 80 Candles Quilt and learn about some of those documented.

Building on the unveiling of the 80 Candles Quilt at HMD 2025, members of Derbyshire Jewish Community will be sharing the stories behind their contributions including of family histories.

There will be opportunities for prayer and reflection led by Rabbi Gili Zidkiyahu of Nottingham Liberal Synagogue.
