Auxiliary Presents Script Live Read Series is a powerful program that directly supports the Legion’s Veteran Affairs & Rehabilitation (VA&R) pillar, providing Veterans (and their family members) the opportunity to showcase their talents as writers and actors before large audiences. All proceeds go toward Auxiliary programs benefiting Veterans, military families, and Post 43 activities. Join us in supporting this meaningful initiative that honors and uplifts those who served.

VJ Boyd whose grandfathers (maternal & paternal) are WWII Veterans and is known for his work on shows like JUSTIFIED, S.W.A.T., THE MADNESS, and LINCOLN RYME: HUNT FOR THE BONE COLLECTOR.

The script the actors will be reading:

INVASIVE SPECIES is a sci-fi conspiracy thriller centered around a homeless young woman who develops extranatural abilities after taking part in a faux medical trial and finds herself pursued by the FBI, a corrupt pharmaceutical giant, and terrifying relics of our evolutionary past- all of whom believe she is the key to the coming turning point in humanity.
