About this Event
Kick start your New Year's resolution by joining our creative writing club and getting the feedback and motivation to finish that masterpiece. Members will meet online to discuss their progress and solicit critique from the group on the third Thursday of each month. Those who feel comfortable may share small portions of their work with the group. We focus on novels, short stories, and narrative non-fiction but poems and screenplays are also welcome. Any genre is permitted. The host will also occasionally send literature to the members to facilitate discussion. This may include the work of acclaimed authors or writing advice.
You will receive an email with submission instructions from LAPL after you rsvp with a ticket.
The majority of the meetings will take place on Zoom, but every so often, we may meet in person at the Hollywood Library.
