This is a fairly easy walk close to the Ipswich waterfront. A hidden gem Park as it's full of history and adventure which dates from Medieval times. In the 13th century Hollywells was part of a Manor at Bishops Wyke, held by the Bishops of Norwich. One can also enjoy the total peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of town centre. There are 28 hectares of Park and plenty of things to catch your attention: a large number of birds, small mammals, reptiles and over 30 different trees species. Plus wonderful historical buildings.
After the walk we shall have coffee in town and the ones who are happy to join me for live music at the Wine Boutique Bar by Neptune Marina are most welcome to do so x
*Meeting at Isaac's on the quay at 11 am and walk together to the park x
