Hollyweird Storytelling Variety Show with Bridey Elliott!
"Hollyweird" is a surreal and playful storytelling variety show hosted by Bridey Elliott where artists from a vast spectrum of backgrounds get to share stories, philosophies, whatever they want, centered around the theme: hollyweird. The guests use this as inspiration for whatever they choose to do like share personal Hollywood experiences, or read a fictional short story, present a philosophy, a short play, etc. There is an anything goes quality to Hollyweird that keeps each show a uniquely singular experience. Not to be missed!

Bridey Elliott is an actress, writer and filmmaker. She graduated from the National Theater Institute where she studied acting and playwriting. After moving to New York City, she became a regular at Upright Citizens Brigade and starred in the SXSW Grand Jury Prize winning indie, Fort Tilden, in 2014. After relocating to Los Angeles, she began directing. Her first short film, “Affections,” went to the Sundance Film Festival in 2016 and went on to have an international theatrical run as part of the Sundance Shorts Tour. In 2018, Bridey’s dark comedy, Clara’s Ghost, went to Sundance and was released theatrically by MGM Orion. In 2020, “The Starr Sisters,” Bridey’s first documentary she co-directed, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. “The Starr Sisters” was awarded the Audience Pick from Palm Springs ShortFest and the Special Jury Prize from Aspen Shortsfest. Her latest narrative short, “Mirror Party,” premiered at Sundance 2023.

Sabrina Jalees is a comedian, actress, and writer. She has written for various tv shows including Search Party and Big Mouth. Sabrina's stand up is featured in The Comedy Lineup on Netflix.

Whitmer Thomas is a comedian, actor, and musician. His hour long comedy special "The Golden One" premiered on HBO in 2020. His new EP, Tilt, is out as of September 5th. You can catch Whit acting in the new horror film, WEAPONS, in theaters now.

Christina Catherine Martinez is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and comedian in Los Angeles. She was named both a Comedian You Should Know by Vulture and a Comic to Watch by TimeOutLa in 2020. She has written for The Eric Andre Show, and the animated series: Women Wearing Shoulder Pads. Her book of essays, Aesthetical Relations, is available from Hesse Press and her comedy special: How To Bake A Cake In The Digital Age can be found on Youtube.

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for PRS events, except in the event of a medical emergency, including but not limited to a positive COVID-19 test.
In the event that PRS is forced to cancel an event entirely, tickets will be refunded or vouchers offered for a rescheduled event.
PARKING
Limited parking is available onsite at PRS in both the front lot (entry from Los Feliz Blvd. when heading east) and back lot (entry from first alley way, off Griffith Park Blvd. from intersection with Los Feliz Blvd.), as well as street parking on Griffith Park Blvd. and (after 7 PM) on Los Feliz Blvd. We encourage attendees to consider carpooling, walking or biking to events if possible, and please be considerate of our Los Feliz neighbors when parking, many thanks.
PRS EVENT POLICIES
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
- Events are subject to change without notice, including guest speakers and/or performers.
- We encourage you to arrive at least 30 min. before the scheduled event start time to find parking, enjoy the Bookstore and take your seats.
- Please turn off all mobile devices before the show. Talking and texting are not allowed during the events.
- No filming, audio recording or mobile phone recording of events, screenings, concerts or other programs by audience members is allowed without permission.
- There is no smoking permitted on PRS grounds.
- We strongly encourage guests to wear masks to PRS events to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- PRS allows Service Animals into the facility under ADA and state guidelines. For further details please visit www.ADA.gov. No animals permitted whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support, under ADA guidelines and CA Health Code.
- Please do not bring outside food or drink into PRS events.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited at PRS events.
