Join us for the second Saturday of the month HollyWEIRD ride #174 on Saturday May 11th, 2024. The National Lost Sock Memorial Day ride.A whole day dedicated to commemorating the mismatched and missing socks that have vanished into the abyss of the laundry room.
You place them in the washing machine, and after a thorough wash, you discover that one has gone AWOL. The search begins, but alas, the sock remains at large.
Some say it was the result of a sock-eating black hole that opened in the space-time continuum, while others blame it on a faulty spin cycle. Whatever the cause, it left behind a trail of devastation and countless sock orphans.
Let's get out those socks without mates for some fun and wear mismatched socks on the ride.

This has always been a very relaxing ride. It's great fun to see old friends and make some new ones.

At HollyWEIRD, All bikes are welcome, but we really like the freaky ones.
1st meet-up is at the Hollywood Library, right on Hollywood Blvd, just east of 1-95.
We will meet at 1:00 and ride out from the Library at 2:00.
Second stop is at Hollywood beach BLUE WALL at Arizona St. then we make a stop at MargaritaVille's public restrooms, then another stop at FOOD KING by Ocean's 13 for sandwiches, and refreshments. This is also a good time to take a dip in the ocean.
We then move on to the photo op, the pier and then start heading back home.
Many riders park their cars at the Pier parking lot and leave from there.
On the way back to the Library we usually stop for some garlic knots and pizza along the way.
Riders that want to stay on the beach meet at Nicks on the way back. Live music starts at Margaritaville stage at 7:00.
