Holland Village has always been described as being Bohemian. It is certainly a wealthy precinct. It has a pleasant atmosphere and a friendly neighborhood. While things cost a little more, it isn’t exactly out of reach for most people. So, on the weekends, Holland Village is often packed with merry-makers. It is a colorful street at Lorong Mambong.

Holland V, as it is popularly known, was given an extra edge when the local television network made a TV series simply titled “Holland V”. That was an unexpected boost to all things at Holland Village. It was an all-star cast that made Holland Village even more popular. It has been some years now. So, how has “Holland V” been moving lately?

On this tour, we’ll take a slow walk and appreciate its history and stories. We’ll go through the list of all things good, bad and also the ugly sides of Holland V. We’ll gossip about some old, and recent highlights that hit Holland V both positively and negatively.

Tanglin Halt, just a hop away, is a totally different place. Richer in history, complete with SIT flats, Tanglin Halt is now due for a complete change. For now, it is tranquil, rustic and full of old-world charm.

We meet at Holland Village MRT (EXIT B, street level) at 9am on the 4th May 2024. You can see Maybank just next to it.
