The workshop will cover various topics related to holistic postpartum care. These include breastfeeding support, emotional wellness, newborn care, and more. By the end of the workshop, doulas will clearly understand the role of a Holistic Postpartum Doula, the basic services they can offer, and the basic business skills necessary for success.

About the Trainer

LaKenia is a dedicated mother of six. She has been practicing as a holistic birth practitioner for 17 years alongside her husband. She is a certified postpartum doula specialist, and she is a DONA certified doula. She is also an Indigenous Midwife honoring transitional maternal health care. She is well-versed in ancient postpartum techniques, as well as belly binding and in infant and toddler sign language instruction. She is well sought-after training in communities across the United States.
