Holistic Pilates Mat class lengthens and strengthens muscles and fascia, as well as stabilizing your core, which allows you to move through life with greater ease. This class, a fusion of Pilates and other bodywork techniques, is more than a simple workout, it imparts body knowledge and provides movement tips and techniques applicable in daily life which are critical to healthy aging.
Karen Youso has been teaching dance and Pilates for more than 30 years. She is a gifted teacher and 'sees' each body brilliantly, so you are getting personal insight into your particular body.
No prior knowledge of Pilates is required. Class size is limited to allow ample attention for each student.
