Holistic Kids Yoga is an opportunity for your child (ages 6-10) to learn and explore yoga through fun imaginative movement, reflection, and relaxation. All while learning more about themselves as they blossom in this big, beautiful world.
In an age where children face more stress than ever, yoga contributes to their holistic well-being:
• relieves stress, improves self-regulation, and contributes to better sleep
• increases focus, concentration, and memory
• boosts self-esteem, confidence, and social skills
• strengthens the body-mind connection, proprioception, and balance
There will be yoga games, breathing exercises, mindfulness activities, crafts, and imaginative ‘Asana Adventures’ in which we dive deeper into yoga movement instilling confidence, connection, and joy. Your child will also take home an activity sheet every week- an opportunity to bring yoga and conversations home.
This 8-week Fall Series your child will connect to themselves- body, breath, heart and mind- as we explore the E L E M E N T S.
We are a part of nature, and nature is a part of us. By investigating their “inner elements” of fire, earth, water, and air, your child can tap into their inner power, emotions, energy, and light.
Classes will be playful and challenging, seeking to nurture the inner spirit of each child and help them grow in interpersonal life skills as well as provide opportunities for cooperation, leadership, and connecting with others.
