Children's Party with Santa at Hoyt Street Garden- Dec 3 12-3pm| Children are invited to decorate the Hoyt Street Garden 98 Hoyt Street with DIY ornaments and Santa will make a special appearance. The wonderful kid’s band Rollie Pollie Guacamole will perform. And Macaroni Kid Brooklyn NW will be there hosting giveaways and kids' activities. Stop by to guess how may macaroni are in the jar or spin the wheel for a prize!
Holiday Festivities- Dec 310 17| Music Santa and More along Atlantic Avenue! Santa will spread holiday cheer on December 10th and 17th. Bring the kids out to spot him! The fun continues on Atlantic Avenue for Giveback Saturday on December 17th. Participating shops will give a portion of their sales to charity. So when you do holiday shopping you’re giving back.
Walk the Windows + Vote for your favorite!- Beginning next week many merchants will decorate their windows for the season. On Wednesday November 30th a panel of judges will pick the best windows and cash awards will be given. For the first time we will let the public pick their favorite window. This is your chance to choose the best window. Look for the QR codes posted in the decorated windows to vote.
AALDC Toy Drive- Until Dec 12- The AALDC Annual Toy Drive provides toys and donations to disadvantaged children and families at local homeless shelters and other partners. With your contribution of funds or requested toys we would be able to bring smiles to the faces of many children this holiday season. Any amount is appreciated and helpful.
