The Town of Purcellville is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted to participate in the annual Holidays in Purcellville Parade. There is no cost to participate. The parade will kick off at noon on Saturday, December 13. This year's theme is Sugarplum Sweets & Holiday Treats. The Purcellville Business Association will be hosting a decorating contest and awarding prizes to the winners - so get creative and show off your holiday spirit! The application will be open until Friday, December 5 or until the parade has reached capacity. If that happens, a waitlist application will be posted on the Holidays in Purcellville web page. The route is close to 2.5 miles long, starting at Blue Ridge Middle School, then right onto A Street, right onto 20th Street, right onto Main Street, right onto Maple Avenue, right onto A Street, and returning to Blue Ridge Middle School. The parade route will be closed to traffic from approximately 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and no vehicles should be parked on streets along the parade route from Friday, December 12 at 9 p.m. through Saturday, December 13 at 3 p.m. Please prepare in advance for the road closures. The Purcellville Police Department will manage closures and re-opening of roadways based on the priority of safety.

The Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is hosting the annual Holiday Lights Tour! The lights tour map will become available on Saturday, December 13th on the event website.
