A beloved Phoenix tradition, Holidays at the Heard is the must-see event of the season for your family, friends, and out-of-town guests! This year, join us for a four-day celebration of the Heard Museum’s 95th birthday (December 26th). Catch lunchtime performances in Piper Courtyard from talented musicians including Grammy®- nominee Aaron White (Northern Ute/Diné), Gabriel Ayala (Yaqui), and Sydney Marian (Navajo).
After lunch at the Café, treat yourself to captivating performances of Hoop Dance and Grass Dance from Sinquah Productions, led by Moontee Sinquah (Hopi-Tewa/Choctaw) and Chicken Dance and Hoop Dance from Homeland Productions, led by Tyrenn LodgePole (Diné).
In between performances, participate in hands-on art activities that the whole family can enjoy. Take your artwork home as a memento of your time at the museum!
These performances and activities are free to the public. Museum admission is not included. We encourage you to visit new exhibitions including Space Makers: Indigenous Expression and a New American Art and Hoop Dance!, revisit some of your favorite artworks from the permanent collection, and enjoy playing together in the Heardlings Family Activity Room.
