In the midst of the holiday festivities, treat yourself to a cozy and creative evening learning to make a classic Yule Log cake — the beloved bûche de Noël.This traditional European Christmas dessert is artfully designed to resemble a 3D log, and under the expert guidance of Chef Melissa Walnock from the Culinary Institute, you’ll learn every step of the process — from baking and rolling the sponge to mastering elegant decorating techniques. Chef Melissa will demonstrate how to create realistic buttercream “bark,” whimsical meringue mushrooms, and all the finishing touches that make this cake truly spectacular.
By the end of the evening, you’ll leave with your own beautifully decorated bûche de Noël — and the confidence to recreate it at home for your holiday guests.
We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions with advance notice; however, we are unable to meet all requests. Guests ages 21 and over are welcome to bring beer or wine to enjoy during the class.
