I am excited to announce and host a Holiday Wreath Workshop at McCoy Farm & Gardens! You'll create your own nature-inspired holiday wreath using fresh greenery and festive accents.
This event is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and is intended to be all about exploring your creativity in a relaxed, small-group setting.
You will get simple, step-by-step guidance and plenty of freedom to make your wreath unique! Whether you are brand-new to wreath-making or love a seasonal craft, you will head home with something beautiful to hang on your door.
What's Included:
- All materials and tools (greens, ribbon, wire, and wire wreath ring)
- Light refreshments and festive holiday tunes
- Cozy atmosphere & hands-on instruction
- A portion of the proceeds donated back to McCoy Farm & Gardens
What to Bring:
- Garden gloves
- Clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy
**NOTE: If you would like to personalize your wreath, please feel free to bring your own greens and cuttings from your Christmas tree or yard. You may also bring your own ribbon or favorite natural accents such as pinecones or dried oranges. Sharing and swapping materials is encouraged!
Suggested Greens to Bring:
Cedar, Pine, Magnolia leaves, Spruce or Fir, Holly or Nandina for pops of red, and Boxwood or laurel are all suggestions that can be easily found in the area!
Tip: If you do bring your own greens, please be sure to keep them in a bucket of water until the workshop to stay fresh
A Note from the Host:
This event is designed for adults (ages 18+). We'll be working with wire, clippers and lots of prickly evergreens - plus, it's the perfect excuse for a little holiday "me time."
Come as you are--no floral experience required, just a little holiday spirit! I hope you will join us for a night of fun creativity and make something special for the season!
