Kick off the holiday season by celebrating the release of the 2024 University of Nevada, Reno White Wine Blend, a collaboration of the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources and Nevada Sunset Winery.
The evening features an unlimited tasting of our 100% Nevada-grown wine and charcuterie-style appetizers, all for $27 per person. Discounted pricing is available for Nevada Alumni Association members (check your email).
The wine, made with grapes harvested from University of Nevada, Reno Extension's Research Center & Demonstration Orchard in North Las Vegas and a private vineyard in Silver Springs, is a lovely blend showcasing notes of honeysuckle, jasmine, pear, citrus and a hint of lychee.
More choices from Nevada Sunset’s line of fine wines will be available by the glass or bottle for an additional fee.
While you’re enjoying the evening, you're also invited to get an early start on your holiday shopping! Donations of $100 or more to the College will receive a bottle of our Red Wine Blend in a wool wine bag, made from the fine wool of the College's Rafter-7 Merino sheep.
