You’re invited! Inspired by the hit Reading Rhythms in NYC, we’re hosting our next reading party in Charleston on December 11th!
In our hyper-digital world, it’s a breath of fresh air to unplug and connect with other humans over a good book.
Come for an evening designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you want and we’ll facilitate a silent reading period (bring whatever book you are reading or have been meaning to read), a special spoken word from a local creative, and small-group discussions to pull on the threads and themes of the books that we're engaging with.
This is a special holiday book-swap edition: Please bring a book you've enjoyed, wrapped in brown paper. You'll give this to a new friend and walk away with a book for yourself :)
We love bringing people together in real life, being present with the books that challenge and inspire us, and sparking meaningful conversations with creatives. Our goal is to create a welcoming place for connection around books we love. Come with a friend or come by yourself and make new friends!
Tickets: $15 (seating is limited, so get your ticket today!) With your ticket purchase, babas is providing their signature delicious snacks!
