Holiday Ornaments and GiftsOverview:
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create several delightfully easy-to-make holiday ornaments that will be perfect gifts for friends, family, and white elephant exchanges. The class includes materials and instructions for making three ornaments: a sophisticated cylinder, a gingerbread cottage, and a tiny steampunk top hat.
What You’ll Learn:
Sourcing materials for making your own DIY ornaments
Basic cutting and construction techniques
Various decorative techniques including, collage, painting, tape, and markers
How finish and prepare your ornaments for display
Materials:
The cost of the workshop includes access to the instructor’s collection of of papers, cardboard, fabric scraps, ribbons, and other embellishments
A glue stick and tape
Scissors and/or a craft knife
Cotton swabs and water
Staplers, brads, paperclips, and other fasteners
Pens, pencils, markers, and crayons
