Holiday Morning Trail

Join us for a refreshing holiday morning hike at the Griffith Observatory Trail! We’ll explore stunning views, fresh air, and enjoy the great company of fellow outdoor enthusiasts. This hike is a perfect way to kick off your day with a moderate, scenic trek to the back of the iconic Hollywood sign. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or new to the trails, the Griffith Observatory Trail offers a great experience for everyone.

• Trail Details: The hike is moderate in difficulty with a gradual climb, offering shade along the way and well-marked paths. The stunning views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign make this an unforgettable adventure.

• Meeting Location: We’ll meet just above the side parking lot, near the sign for a brief meet and greet before the hike begins at 7:00am. Please be on time so we can start promptly.

• What to Bring:
• Sturdy trail shoes or sneakers with good traction
• Plenty of water and lightweight snacks like granola bars or fruit
• Sun protection, including a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
• A light jacket or sweater in case of cool weather
• Leash and supplies for your dog (if bringing one) including poop bags and a water bowl
• Parking: Free parking is available until 10am. After going through the tunnel, turn right onto Mt. Hollywood Rd and park along the road.

• Collaborating Groups: This hike is hosted by Black Everywhere, So Cal Black Wine Club, and The Black Outdoors, bringing together a great community for an unforgettable outdoor experience.
