The Marlatt Funeral Home staff and family would like to invite you to our annual Holiday Memorial and Candle Lighting Ceremony on Friday evening, December 6th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., This ceremony is a way to take a moment during the holiday season to reflect on those who are no longer with us but are still very much part of our memories and lives. At the conclusion of the service, you will have the opportunity to light a candle in memory of your loved one.
The focal point of this ceremony is a video tribute. If you would like to participate in the tribute, please send us your favorite photo of your loved one by December 3rd. You can email the photo to us at [email protected], or you can bring it into the office. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm and Saturday 10:00am–3:00pm.
The ceremony will also include live music, and following the service there will be refreshments and an opportunity to visit with others from the community. When you leave, you are welcome to take home a memorial ornament as a special memento of the season.
We are also a Toys for Joy drop off location this holiday season for toys and non-perishable food for the community. This program is run by the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority to make the holidays a little brighter for approximately 2,500 children each year. If you are able to donate, please bring your items with you to the Holiday Memorial, or you can bring into the office any time before December 18th.
