Downtown Shelton knows just how to kick off the season with our HOLIDAY MAGIC event!This annual event is a joint effort between the KristmasTown Kiwanis and the Shelton Downtown Merchants to create two days of merriment and FREE family activities.
It all starts FRIDAY DECEMBER 6th with the following festivities:
The KRISTMAS TOWN KIWANIS PRESENT:
• Tree lighting at the Post Office Park - 6:00pm
• After the tree lighting there is much to see and do!
• School Choirs perform in Post Office Park
• Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be there to visit with!
• Don't miss the bonfires and Marshmallow Roasting, Wagon Rides and Kiddie Train Rides on Railroad Avenue!
The Shelton Downtown Merchants are offering a "SHOP SHELTON FIRST" rewards card! There are a variety of ways to enter for prizes. Check out our website for details.
MERCHANTS WILL BE OPEN UNTIL 8:00pm for SHOPPING!
• FREE MOVIE at Shelton Cinemas! You can enjoy MUPPETS CHRISTMAS CAROL at 4:00pm. Just bring a donation of non-perishable food for free entry.
SATURDAY December 7th:
• CHRISTMAS PARADE - 5:00pm
sponsored by the KristmasTown Kiwanis and Peninsula Credit Union.
A favorite among many mason county citizens, the Christmas Parade is as “home town” as it gets, don’t miss out!
• Christmas Kickoff Party” at the ChristmasTown Festival of the Firs at Shelton's Civic Center. There will be crafts, food, music and more! Plus the TREE MAZE is next door in the Civic Center parking lot.
