This year Thornton Park is teaming up with our sister neighborhood, Lawsona/Fern Creek to set out the annual holiday luminaries on Saturday, Dec 4! They will start by lighting their Washington Street bridge while we start at our Washington Street fountain, and we'll meet up at Lake Lawsona to light the Christmas tree! And then everyone will be invited to Cavo's for a holiday drink afterwards! ;)
Let's meet at 3pm in Leo's driveway near 30 James Ave to fill the luminary bags, followed by putting them out around the streets of Thornton Park. We'll light them at 7pm, and meet at Lake Lawsona by 7:30 to light the tree.
If you have a pick-up, that would be a great help, and if you can help any time between 3 and 6, that would be great!
