Join us for our monthly Ecstatic Dance Arlington gathering at our beautiful, welcoming home at the UUCA! All ages, backgrounds, religions, identities, and emotions are invited into this heart-centered space.
This month, we’re celebrating with a Holiday Love Dance — complete with a holiday vendor market, cozy chill-out room, and a community altar co-created with your meaningful items and intentions. ✨

🌟 What Is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a freeform dance meditation that invites you into joyful expression, deep embodiment, and community connection in a safe, substance-free container.
This experience is a collaboration between the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington and Soul Fire Experiences, hosted by Ari Azizkhan-Gould (DJ electro-cute) — local DJ, conscious event curator, and lifelong ecstatic dancer. Expect a musical journeys influenced by global sounds, diverse eras, and playful energy designed to awaken your body and inner child. Flow arts are encouraged and many flow props are provided!
The event includes:
• Embodiment warm-up
• Dance meditation with live DJ
• Sound healing cool-down
• Two-room experience: dedicated dance floor + cozy chill-out room with pillows, blankets, and local vendors (energy/tarot readings, bodywork, jewelry & more)

To keep our space safe, welcoming, and intentional:
• Consent first — always ask before engaging with someone on the floor
• No shoes — to protect everyone’s toes
• No talking on the dance floor — joyful sounds welcome
• No alcohol or substances — so we stay present
• No photos/videos of dancers — DJ photos allowed with consent
• All forms of movement or rest welcome — dance, lie down, stretch, or recharge in the chill-out room
