The St. John’s Lions Club will be serving free hot chocolate - don’t forget to bring a reusable mug! The Community Food Sharing Association will also be onsite, collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to Saturday, December 13, 2025. The holiday lights will remain on display by January 7, 2026.
Accessibility:
This event includes a wheelchair accessible viewing area. Accessible parking is in the parking lot near the Duck Pond, with additional spaces near the Bowring Park Lodge on Waterford Bridge Road.
The duck pond trail is approximately 500 meters of concrete sidewalk and packed gravel with uneven terrain in places. All-terrain wheelchairs may be borrowed on a first come, first serve basis and must be reserved in advance. Call 709-576-6972 or email [email protected] before November 28.
A limited number of noises reducing headphones will be available to borrow at the Bowring Park Lodge, near the duck pond. A photo-ID is required.
