Join us for a festive evening featuring three major forces of the Kansas City musical scene as they perform holiday favorites throughout the Zoo's GloWild Lantern Displays!
Performance Schedule:
Ad Astra Youth Chamber Orchestra
(Main Lobby Area) - 5:00 pm
Kansas City Trombone Christmas
(Outside of Helzberg Penguin Plaza) - 6:00 pm
Kansas City Horn Club
(Main Lobby Area) - 7:30 pm
Kansas City Horn Club Warm-Up:
The Kansas City Horn Club will meet at 6:00 pm to warm up and run through music.
Musician and Staff Information:
All participating musicians and staff receive free entry. Entry is through the North Ticket Office Entrance (just to the left of the main entrance—look for signs).
Family and Friends Admission:
The Zoo is offering heavily discounted admission to the GloWild event for family and friends at $15.00 per ticket. Tickets can only be purchased at the ticket office on the day of the event.
Family and friends should mention they are with Band of Angels and/or KC Horn Club to receive the discount.
Musician Check-In:
Check-in for musicians begins at 3:00 pm at the North Ticket Office Entrance. Enjoy the Zoo prior to our performace.
Please note that check-in volunteers and staff will not be on-site before 3:00 pm.
Concert Dress: Wear your KC Horn Club t-shirt or any festive attire. Feel free to decorate yourself and your horn in a holiday style!
KC Zoo, Band of Angels, KC Horn Club, and Ad Astra staff are not responsible for any students/children left unattended.
