The Ribbon transforms into a glowing holiday wonderland on Friday, December 20 for our special Holiday Glow Skate featuring holiday colors, music and more! The Ribbon will be open for public skating from 1 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on the 20th with three Holiday Glow Skate Sessions at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (5 to 10:30 p.m.).

HEAT UP YOUR WINTER FUN WITH A CABANA RENTAL
Reserve a Cabana along The Ribbon ice skating trail and enjoy a private fire pit, heated cabana shelter, and seasonal drinks and delicious food delivered to you from The Garden by Poco Piatti. Cabanas host up to 15 people per cabana, and include skate admissions and rentals for 10. Reserve multiple cabanas for larger groups. Glow Skates offer two Cabana Rental times – 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., reservations available at: https://metroparkstoledo.com/winter-cabana
GLOW SKATE SERIES, PRESENTED BY MEIJER
The Ribbon will feature a monthly Glow Skate promotion during the winter ice skating season, presented by Meijer. Each Glow Skate event will offered from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with three sessions beginning at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The series will also include multiple Glow Skates in the summer during the 2025 Roller Skating season (dates TBD).

There is no admission fee at any time to visit Glass City Metropark. Admission is only required to skate The Ribbon ice skating trail during the winter season; Guests are free to use their own equipment or skate rentals are available for just $2.
