Event Overview:
Our extravaganza kicks off on Friday afternoon with guest check-in, followed by an opening social and a keynote address by the renowned Ricky Tims. Over the next two days, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a series of engaging classes led by our special guests Krista Moser, and Christine Conner (Amélie Scott Designs), as well as Bernina Educators Athena Taylor and Kari Curley. Participants will learn new techniques and complete holiday projects, and the event will also feature a special trunk show by Krista Moser.
Event Timeline:
Day 1: Friday, November 8th
4:30 - 5:30 PM: Guest Check-in
- Receive itinerary, name tag, and a HCQ bag with a tumbler.
5:00 - 6:00 PM: Open Bar & Appetizers
- Enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and light appetizers while mingling.
6:00 - 6:30 PM: Welcome & Introductions
6:30 - 8:00 PM: Keynote Speaker: Ricky Tims
8:00 PM: Announcements for Saturday
Day 2: Saturday, November 9th
8:00 AM: Continental Breakfast Buffet
8:30 AM: Introduction & Trunk Show
- HCQ staff will model favorite creations and distribute custom bags with class supplies.
9:00 - 12:30 PM: Class Rotation 1
12:30 - 1:30 PM: Lunch (Fiesta Buffet by the Hilton)
1:30 - 5:00 PM: Class Rotation 2 (with 1 or 2, 15-minute breaks)
5:30 - 7:00 PM: Plated Dinner
7:00 PM: Krista Moser's Trunk Show
- Autographs, photos, and shopping time.
8:30 PM: Good night!
Day 3: Sunday, November 10th
8:00 - 9:00 AM: Continental Breakfast Buffet
9:00 - 12:30 PM: Class Rotation 3
12:30 - 1:30 PM: Lunch (Soup & Salad Bar)
1:30 - 5:00 PM: Class Rotation 4
5:00 PM: Event concludes.
Additional Information:
Projects You will be Creating: Hollow Star Table Runner, Edge to Edge Quilting Project, Serger Project, Longarm Ruler works project.
All Supplies will be provided for each project.
Projects can be completed within 3.5-hour class sessions, so you can go home with finished gifts!
Classroom Rotations:
Guests will be divided into 4 groups. 25 people per group. Each group will attend each class over the 2 day event.
