Make your holiday greetings extra special inside and out with this introduction to hand lettering for envelopes. Learn basic brush lettering styles and tips for consistent envelopes so everyone on your list gets a little extra magic with their card. Students will receive a Tombow Dual Tip Brush Pen, a basic hand lettering guide to take home, two A7 (5x7) envelopes and a sheet of hand made deckle-edge paper.Not quite ready to letter your own this year? Stick around after the class from 12:30 to 2:30 to have your envelopes letter by Alison for a suggested donation of $4 per envelope to the Machias Arts Council (limit 10 per person).
Alison Ross is a graphic designer, sculptor, illustrator, sign painter, and muralist living in Pembroke with her husband Dave. Using her diverse creative background, Alison enjoys creative problem solving and using art as a way to create and connect with the community.
