Instructor: Susan BulmanLocal artist, Susan Bulman, invites you to join her for a festive afternoon of watercolour painting at the Douglas Family Art Centre on Saturday, December 6 from 1-4pm. In this session, you will create greeting cards for friends and family in watercolour, beginning with a circle motif.
Susan will begin the class by discussing the different ways that the circle can be used to design your cards. Wreaths will be built up using layers of greens and a variety of brushstrokes to represent pine, fir, or cedar boughs. Other options include filling your circles with ornamental patterns, snowy scenes, text, or winter animals.
Festive tunes will be played throughout the workshop to get everyone in the holiday spirit and inspire their creativity. There will be a break half way through the session to enjoy some baked goods and tea.

The cost to register is $45 +HST for non-members or $40.50 +HST for MUSE members.
Registration and payment are required to reserve your space in this class, and can be completed in-person or online. This program is intended for adults and teens (ages 13+). Limited to 16 participants. All materials are supplied.
