Come write and decorate holiday cards for LGBTQ+ folx across the country who need some extra cheer this year!This free, family-friendly event is part of the Pinta Pride Project's annual card-writing campaign, which sends non-religious messages of care, support, and affirmation to people who have either signed up to receive such cards or to those who have been named by someone in their chosen family.
We will provide lots of cards, stickers, markers, etc. but would love it if you're able to bring any extras of those things to share. (I would especially appreciate help with postage). Cards do NOT need to be holiday-themed — cute animals, puns, nature, thinking of yous, etc. are also a great fit!
You're absolutely welcome to come and go as you please, whether you just write one card, want to stay and hang, or write a holiday note for anyone special in your own life too. Personal Best allows outside food and non-alcoholic drinks, so please feel free to bring anything you need.
If there's enough interest in starting a little bit earlier or going a little bit later, just let us know and we can probably make it work :) Allies welcome!
