Holiday Card Making for the Elderly

Come join us at the for a heartwarming event where we will be making holiday cards for the elderly. Let's spread some joy and cheer by creating beautiful handmade cards to brighten up their day. No experience necessary, just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! It's a wonderful way to give back to the community and make a difference in someone's life this holiday season. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make someone smile!

We will be making Christmas cards for Arden Courts memory center(and other facilities if we get enough participation). There are so many elderly people that are in care with no one to visit with them. If you know any centers that could benefit from this event please let me know. There will be a small fee and all the materials will be supplied.

Each participant will get blank cards to start and will have access to tape, sheet music, books, paper, cards, washi tape, string, rubber stamps, punches, and so much more. If you have supplies you'd like to bring feel free.

This event is a come and go party or stay the whole time. We are happy to have any help we can get. The cards will not be deleivered until December. If you'd like to help with delivering the cards around the holidays sign up for my mailing list so you can be contacted and also learn about similar events.

I will have samples of handmade cards for inspirations. I'm looking for to reaching more people and spreading joy.

If you love singing Christmas carols this is the event for you.

Please put Sunday, December 14, 2025, 2 pm in your calendar. We will gather in the parking lot of Arden Courts, 410 Buckingham Rd, Richardson, TX 75081, right at 2 pm. And then we'll go in at 2:15 pm.

We will sing for about 30 minutes or so. Talk to the residents, as they are sometimes open to that. And then we'll head out for our traditional bite of Dim Sum at Golden Joy on Plano Road and Belt Line.
