Description
Celebrate the joyful and colorful Hindu festival that ushers in Spring. This ancient tradition marks the end of winter and honors the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. With Amirah's expert coaching, you'll make four festive, seasonal, meatless dishes and then sit down to enjoy every bite.
In order to take advantage of the natural light, please meet in the cooking school at 6 pm. We'll gather outdoors to shower each other with brightly colored powders to begin the celebrations and then head back to the kitchen to cook and enjoy a meal. Participants traditionally wear white.
For ages 18 & up. Registrants are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes since you will be working in the kitchen.
