HOLD THESE TRUTHS is a powerful and inspiring drama based on the true story of Gordon Hirabayashi, a Japanese American who courageously challenged the injustice of Japanese American internment during World War II. The play follows Hirabayashi’s journey from a young student to a principled activist, as he faces impossible choices, legal battles, and the weight of standing up for what is right in the face of widespread prejudice.
