GUEST SPEAKERS

Artur Pawlowski is a Polish-Canadian pastor and political activist. He was repeatedly imprisoned after not closing his church in Alberta and spent 51 days in J*il after being arrested following a speech to truckers in Coutts, Alberta, in protest of Canada's vaccine mandate. He was sentenced to 60 days in J*il for his involvement in the Coutts border blockade in February 2022.

Kristen Nagle is a former nurse from London Ontario and her organization Canadian Frontline Nurses was fined $315,000 in court costs after losing a libel lawsuit against the Canadian Nursing Association and a British Columbia media outlet. She claimed her reputation was tarnished and they were the subject of harassment and death threats because of published responses by the professional nursing group. She was one of two Canadian nurses who drew attention for speaking in Washington on January 6, 2021 and was actively involved in the 2022 Freedom Convoy.

Maggie Hope Braun, who was arrested during Ottawa protests, says the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act in 2022 was a violation of civil liberties. She later testified at the Emergencies Act commission hearing in Ottawa, explaining how she disagreed with the federal government’s COVID-19 mandates and the use of the Emergencies Act in February 2022 to end the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa. She is currently actively involved in advocacy work with municipal Councils through her Gather 2023 initiative.
