Hokusai was a Japanese artist from the Edo Period. He was best known for his block printing technique and his most famous block print series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Hokusai has inspired many artists throughout history, such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and many others.
Now Hokusai can inspire your kids to make their own block print. Kids will learn how to properly use carving tools to make their own blockprint as well as how to mix colors and print their creations onto paper to bring home.
This camp is suggested for kids 12 plus and runs from Monday-Thursday from 11am to 12:30 pm
