Due to popular demand here is another West Coast packraft meetup.Come prepared for a weekend of easy west coast packrafting, unlike other regions this means actually packing your gear in to some spectacular paddling. Likely runs are the infamous Hokitika Gorge, the majestic Mikonui and the awesome Arahura (Cesspool and Milltown sections), these grade 2 runs with some optional spicier bits. There are also options for some more capable paddlers to head a little further up, depending on flow, interest and skill levels we may also look at the lower sections of the Styx, Toaroha or Kakapotahi rivers. As with any trip planned to the West Coast we need to leave our options open just in case it is anything other than the delightful sunny place pictured on the postcards, final river runs will be decided on the day. This time we will be camping at the Woodstock Domain, a peaceful spot just 8 mins drive from Hokitika Township. Camping fees are to be paid into the honesty box at the domain - It's just $5 per person per night. All food is your own responsibility, the Woodstock Tavern does a good feed and is just a short stumble away.We suggest that you arrive on the Friday night as we will be looking to split up, plan shuttles and head off paddling on Saturday morning around 8am - With all packrafting gear packed and ready for a walk in!

All packrafting gear; including Whitewater Helmet, PFD and a pack for the walk in trips, be prepared for cooler waters.
Tents/bedding/food
Cash for shuttle drivers ($5 and $10 notes)
