Save the Date On July 9th, 2024 JFK Elementary School and the Brewster community lost a beacon of light and positivity. Megan was an integral part of the Brewster Schools, whether it was teaching Special Education, sharing books to colleagues and students, or coaching her daughter on the lacrosse field. She was loved and respected by all that knew her and she made an impact on all the students that she taught. Megan had a personality that would light up a room. She always had a smile on her face and her sense of humor was unmatched. She was quick with wise cracking responses that would make you laugh so hard you would cry.
Megan was empathetic and extremely sensitive, while at the same time incredibly strong and determined. She had a huge capacity for love. If a person was in need, Megan would jump into action immediately with no hesitation. Her love for her family was her greatest sense of pride and joy. Her husband Mike, and three kids Olivia, Veronica, and Mikey were the light of her life. She was a Supermom who loved taking the kids on adventures and vacations.
The recipient of this scholarship will be thoughtfully selected by her devoted family, ensuring the award is a true reflection of her values and aspirations. The honor will be formally presented during the Senior Awards Night.
