Hogeye Navvy has long been a mainstay of the central Indiana folk scene. The band has played together in various formations for more years than its members care to admit. Hogeye has performed throughout the Midwest at small pubs and large festival stages. They have toured Ireland and Scotland with their fans and friends. You can expect a rollicking evening of acoustical traditional music, including sea chanteys, canal songs, traditional Irish and Scottish tunes, as well as songs of the Great Lakes, and railroad tunes. They welcome all aboard with their spirited live performances, and provide plenty of mighty fine “craic” (that’s Irish for fun!) for audiences of all ages.
We’ve received MANY requests to have Hogeye Navvy back at the Indy Folk Series, and we’re delighted to oblige! They’ve packed the house every time. Grab your tickets early, wear some green, and come start the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations early with a rousing evening of good fun and great tunes with Indiana’s premier purveyors of musical mirth: Hogeye Navvy.
