Join the Hoffman Estates Arts Commission and the Schaumburg Township District Library as they celebrate self-publishing culture at the inaugural Hoffman Estates Zine Fest on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Rd. from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This all ages, family-friendly event is the first of its kind in the area, uniting independent publishers, artists and storytellers from across Chicagoland under one roof. Attendees will browse captivating booths, meet the artists, trade inspirations and bring home unique zines purchased directly from creators. The event also includes an interactive, creative workshop for anybody who wants to learn how to create their own zines!
